Relationship portability
Preference Compass is an experiment by Deshimaru Sakaguchi: can the understandings built through dialogue travel with a person across AI sessions and platforms? The goal is to reduce repeated explanation and repair without freezing someone in their past preferences.
The questionnaire creates initial observations. It does not establish trust, diagnose personality or reconstruct a relationship that has not happened. Later sheets can record shared understandings, agreements, misunderstandings and repairs, disclosure boundaries and unresolved questions. Task progress belongs in a separate handoff.
This release offers one 100-question questionnaire in seven language/script editions. Every question requires a response, but “I don’t know”, “it depends”, “not applicable” and “I prefer not to answer” are valid responses. There is no score or ranking of people.
